It's nearly Summer!!! x

Well i'm super ecstatic to be typing this post because today I handed my my dissertation! I know a lot of you who read my blog are students too so congratulations to you too if you've finished yours, such a relief!

If you're wondering why there was no post last week that's because I was in Salou with the Cheerleaders on Tour! Basically a week of partying with all other University sports teams in the UK!

Today's post concludes my Spring Lookbook 2014 and I thought I would finish off with something super casual. Those that know me in reality will know that I have a tendency to over dress for occasions, but considering a lot of my readers are students, I thought it was best to try and incorporate lots of different styles into the lookbook.

The outfit today is really affordable featuring Primark skinny jeans and a H&M Crop Tee. I threw this outfit on one day as a last minute rush and actually received some lovely compliments so I thought i'd share it with you guys too. I've teamed the look with my favourite necklace (courtesy of my best friend Ella) from Miss Selfridge and a pair of gladiator sandals I bought from Topshop in Autumn 2013.

Spring Lookbook 2014 ft Neon Prints | kikilovesx

Happy Easter Everyone! x 

I hope you all have a lovely day filled with lots of chocolate, calories and relaxation!

Tonight I am going to Salou with the cheerleaders for 'I Love Tour', basically all the University Sports Teams in the UK are invited for a week of sun, sea and partying to celebrate the end of season, i'm so exciteddd! However we are travelling there by coach, yep over 30 hours...I will let you know how that one goes when I return next week!

Today's outfit from my Spring Lookbook series features my favourite outfit at the moment from Missguided. Co-Ordinates are on trend this season with clashing prints and colours. I also love the spaghetti strap top, these were huge in the 90s so it gives the look a bit of an edge and the style of the top is really complimenting on the shoulders - something I now love rocking my short hair. 

I have styled the outfit with a simple clutch from Primark, this was less than £5 and I love the mint and pink colours together. The shoes I am wearing are also from Missguided but I managed to find them on Ebay for a cheaper price, be sure to check out the links below!

Spring Lookbook 2014 ft Parma Violets | kikilovesx

It's Saturdayyy, yay for weekends!

 

Well what an amazing two days I have spent with my tigers at the BCA Cheerleading University National Competition!! I am ecstatic to say that our cheer team came 3rd and our co-ed stunt team came 2nd - super happy! I hope you're all having a lovely Easter weekend too.

 

Today's outfit features my favourite trend for this Spring and upcoming Summer, pastels. I love the colours every year and they always seem to be a key trend.

 

I have styled a lilac skirt from one of my favourite online stores, Missguided, with a Primark fluffy crop top. I think these crop tops are a perfect all year round essential and I certainly will be using it as a key piece throughout the seasons.

I also love the skirts dogtooth print, another key trend for this spinrg.

 

My favourite part of this outfit is the shoes, also off Missguided. I have always wanted to customise Converse and these Missguided low-top dupes are perfect with rhinestones covering the toe of the shoe and a ribbon replacing the lace, so pretty teamed with pastels this Spring. They are also available in a gorgeous bright blue.

 

I often get compliments on my girly Anna Smith bag, a beautiful gift from my lovely mum. If you haven't checked out her bags yet then I highly recommend you do, they are so unique!

 

This look is fun, pretty and budget too. I think the skirt is also versatile and can be either dressed up or down to suit the occasion.

Spring Lookbook 2014 ft Daisy Dreams | kikilovesx

If you didn't already know I am part of My University's cheerleading team and today we are competing at the BCA University Nationals - fingers crossed!

Following a similar theme to yesterday, I wanted to post another low cost look as I know a lot of you lovely followers are students on a budget like me. I really want to show you how you can still follow the latest trends whilst still saving pennies in your purse!

Today's look features one of my high street stores, Primark. Now I know there's a lot of mixed opinions on Primark as one negative is that if there is a popular item in there, then half of the population is bound to have it too!! But I do try and pick those items which are somewhat unique.

I've styled a pretty shift dress with my favourite sandals for this season. Tartan shift dresses were huge last Autumn and I actually never bought one, mainly because of their popularity and everyone seemed to have one. I know that Primark have tried to continue the tartan trend by introducing pastel versions for this Spring but I adore floral prints so I couldn't resist this little number teamed with a Primark satchel bag.

The shoes featured in this post are in my opinion absolutely lush! And similar to yesterday, I saw these on Missguided and although I loveee Missguided, if I can find cheaper alternatives, I most likely save my money, especially on shoes! Spring Lookbook 2014 ft 90s Chick | kikilovesx

Welcome back to Kikilovesx

So if you visited my blog yesterday then you will know that for 6 days my blog is featuring 6 outfits from my Spring 2014 Lookbook.

Today's outfit features some of my favourite vintage pieces to create a 90's feel. For the past year the 90s fashion style has been growing in the UK with denim, gold statement jewellery and even jelly shoes filling the highstreet stores. For this Spring and Summer spaghetti strap crop tops are huge and I personally love them...but we will save that for a later blog post ;)

Look No.2 is a low cost outfit featuring clothes from a charity shop, Primark and Ebay, so if you're on budget this Spring, like me being a student, then make sure you browse around for your favourite items.

I wanted to get my hands on a pair of jelly shoes for a longgg time after seeing them on the Missguided website and after a search on Ebay, I found the exact same pair but for half the price! Top tip - Ebay alwaysss has similar if not the same shoes as a lot of leading stores with a much wanted smaller pricer tag.

I also have seen jellies in Primark stores this week if you are wanting a pair :) 

Hope you like this look! I threw in a floral crown too to add a girly feel with an edge.

Spring Lookbook 2014 ft Pretty in Pink | kikilovesx

Welcome to Kikilovesx

Well some of you may recognise me already from my previous blog 'euphoria-xoxo'...I guess you're wondering what Kikilovesx is all about?

This makes me really happy to say ... I finally have the time to be able to dedicate myself fully to my blog - how exciting! Basically, I have decided to re-brand my whole channel, focusing on blogging and creating Kikilovesx, still posting about my passion for fashion and cosmetics, with a healthy dose of lifestyle sometimes thrown into the mix!

Regular content is promised on Sunday's and Wednesday's (UK Time zone) every week.

My first post is something I have wanted to create for a while now and that is my 

UK SPRING LOOKBOOK 2014

I have styled 6 affordable outfits for spring featuring some of the leading low cost players including Primark and Missguided. I have incorporated both warm and colder weather, something us Brits have to deal with! And I have also tried to create a variety of looks based on the trends I like this Spring; pastels, florals and co-ordinate prints.To kick start my brand new blog, I have decided to create a 6 day fashion series featuring the outfits from my Spring Lookbook.
